My name is Jennifer Wood.
For 32 years, I was Jennifer Rodgers. I grew up an Army Brat, the oldest of 5 siblings. We lived in Germany and up and down the coast of California when I was growing up.
We learned about Jesus and His Gospel from our faithful mom and dad. I trusted Him as my Savior as a young girl and have spent my life following Him, sometimes well, and sometimes crippled and broken. But He has always been the Faithful One bringing me along.
I was homeschooled as a kid. I got a Certificate in Bible from Cornerstone Bible Institute in Hot Springs, SD. I graduated from Philadelphia Biblical University (Cairns University) with a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies and Certificate in Jewish Studies. I completed a Master of Divinity in Messianic Jewish Studies at the Charles L. Feinberg Center of Talbot School of Theology (Biola University.) I served with Chosen People Ministries, a Gospel outreach to the Jewish people, from 2005-2014. I lived in Philadelphia, New York City, Boston, MA and Los Angeles, CA during my 20s.
In 2014, I met and married Travis Wood of Broken Bow, NE. 10 months after our wedding, the greatest joy, Eva Millie, was born into our lives. Being a wife and a mother is the answer to my lifelong prayers. Now, I am seeking to grow in the Lord in these new roles and to be a light of the Gospel in a rural town in Central Nebraska.
God takes us many places. He is faithful in every single one.
